CIB 2024 Grand Award-Winning Project: JP Morgan Chase Corporate Headquarters

Join us to learn about the innovative solutions and new sustainable materials implemented to build the greenest skyscraper in the United States.

270 Park Avenue is set to become the new state-of-the-art global headquarters for JPMorgan Chase. The 1,388-foot, 60-story skyscraper will be New York City’s largest all electric tower with net zero operational emissions and exceptional indoor air quality that exceeds the highest standards in sustainability, health, and wellness. This project utilized new materials from Urban Mining industries and C-Crete Technologies to accomplish their goal of carbon footprint abatement.

The building’s design incorporated innovative features to ensure stability and resilience against the rigorous demands imposed by the environment and constructability, using high performance concrete—the only material that could efficaciously be placed in that environment. The project also recycled, reused or upcycled 97% of the building materials from the demolition – far exceeding the 75% requirement of the leading green building standard.

Learn about the many elements that make this a grand award winning project.
