Join the Concrete Industry Board of New York for a robust conversation on Type 1L-Portland Limestone Cement.
(3 hours of PDH credit will be issued for this presentation)

Although the use of Type 1L has become increasingly popular in North America over the past few years due to the industry’s increased focus on sustainability, there is concern that not enough project and product specific studies have been conducted.  There would be great benefit in more in-depth research studies to further assess and verify long-term performance of Type 1L. There are varying views on the ability to implement quality control standards and best practices to minimize risk in strength-critical construction.

This panel discussion will offer perspectives and data on the impact of Type 1L on mixes, strength, set time, wear durability, finishing characteristics and other concerns. Following the presentations and panel discussions there will be an opportunity for Q&A.
